Huatulco: Must-See Food-Tour – Unvergessliche Genüsse!

Highly recommend this tour for the clear, high quality education and the interesting introduction to local foods.

My husband and I attended the Huatulco Walking Food Tour one afternoon/evening in mid December. I had to twist my husband's arm to come along but he was pleasantly surprised and we both enjoyed it very much. He said it was a highlight of our trip and I agree. Jane's love and respect for the community and its people is evident as she shares her knowledge of history and cuisine of the area. The food was delicious at all the stops. We highly recommend!

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. She provided lots of interesting cultural facts about the food and the area.

Great information. Loved the local walk about and stories about the local food, how it is grown and sold. Great timing, and great tasting. Well worth the cost.

Giovani was great in introducing us to some of the local food and took us to food venues off the beaten path for tourists.

Great way to get to know a some top spots to eat that you might easily walk by. The places Jane showed were owned by local families who she had a personal relationship with. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was that it was advertised as maximum 12 people and there were at least twice that. The experience was still great though and Jane made it up with her great knowledge and enthusiasm for food as well as Coronas at one of the stops. Happy times overall.

This food tour was beyond our expectations. Not only was it a tasty and flavourful experience but we also learnt a little about the food culture and history of Mexico, especially Oaxaca. Jane, our guide, was very informative and fun. She made sure we were all having a pleasurable experience. I recommend this tour if you are visiting Huatulco.
